This yearly TV special airing from the Rose Parade in Pasadena California was due for a new graphics package. I was given the task to develop a new logo, and design the overall look and feel. After several revisions and a collection of references in a moodboard, I was ready to jump into Cinema 4D and setup some styleframes.
The animation was simple yet effective, a smooth pull out to reveal the rose gold letters forming the logo. Redshift render gave me the precise control of reflections and contrast to brighten up the day, and the new year.
